Harley has done active military work and is a very real old style working dog. One of the aspects that I value the most about Harley is the unbelievable strength and working ability encompassed within the maternal lines seen in his pedigree. More importantly is his exceptional ability produce off of it. Over the 30 plus years of raising working progeny, from some of the most notable producers for the original GSD, I sincerely believe that the character type that Harley consistently imparts into his progeny is some of the strongest and most versatile that I have seen.
Harley’s direct dam Dorota was a multiple Czech National Championship competitor and was on the WUSV World Championship. His famous granddam Codeta Galan Nalag was also a multiple Czech National Champion and 3x WUSV World Championship competitor!!

If you look behind the excellent female Henesee, seen in Harley's maternal line, you will find Norbo Ben Ju himself and his famous producing daughter Uva. You will also find the great Chuligan z Pohranicni straze, Pluto z Pohranicni Straze, Nora z Jirkova dvora. Uva and Nora were both instrumental producing dams for the former head of the Czech Border Patrol breed station.
If you look behind the excellent working and producing female, Coletta Aritar Bastet, you will find the outstanding P. litter. I imported Pedro off of this litter many years ago for one of my clients. The P. litter produced outstanding joint health with excellent hips/elbows produced throughout the entire litter. The litter was heavily titled and utilized in reputable programs. The P. litter was produced by the legendary Jaguar Aritar Bastet and Xero's famous producing daughter Greta. Greta was a top instrumental producing female for their program, and our Xero z Pohranicni Straze was her direct sire.
Harley goes back on some of the following highly influential Czech producers. He contains some of the finest producing lines for the former Czech Border Patrol Pohranicni Straze. Not only are there absolute working and producing legends seen in his pedigree in males, even more valuable to me, as a professional breeder, are the unbelievable working and producing females that make his genetics of such great value.

Judges comments regarding Harley:
Well pigmented, dry and firm. Good building conditions, correct front and step sequence, still shows good movement. TSB pronounced.
Harley is a very tough, dominant and very serious male with extraordinary attacks and very hard, calm and full grips.

The health is absolutely superior behind both his sire and dam. Both his sire and dam have certified excellent hips/elbows, are 0 clear on spondylosis, are both certified standard stock coat carriers only, and are both DM clear. Harley himself is only able to produce standard stock coat type. There are certain breeders who will breed for long coats, however, I consider this to be an unacceptable coat type for work. In realistic application, everything gets caught in the dogs fur, and the dogs overheat more easily. Even though Harley is titled in IGP, he is for serious realistic active work. This is a dog much like our deceased LEGENDS Immo and Congo in protection work. He is very hard and VERY SERIOUS!! He has the benefit, however, of social tolerance in his character and has a positive approach with children. He reminds me a great deal of my deceased LEGEND Dario in his desire to partner with his handler and have a lasting friendship due to the loyalty that is present in his very old style character type. He has a rock solid nerve base and is very clear minded.
Harley has been previously used to do patrol military work in the Ukrainian conflict. This is a REAL old style working dog suitable for the most demanding realistic work. He produces full sets of teeth, only proper standard coat type, good early testicular descension, and extremely strong joint improvement. He also has produced a no failure rate in health and in performance in his progeny that have gone into Military and Dual Purpose seen in multiple countries. Depending upon who he is bred to, you will have wonderful prospects for very serious working application as well as top sport prospects. He has extremely strong breed value for improving/preserving overall health, strength in nerve base, is a strong improver for active defense/civil aggression, naturally deep noses for tracking, and proper versatility in working ability.
